Delete your Drey account

You can delete your Drey account and everything in it at any time. It is a real deletion, not a deactivation, and it cannot be undone.

From inside the app

1. Open Drey and go to Settings.
2. Choose Security & privacy.
3. Choose Delete your account.
4. Read what will be destroyed, type DELETE to confirm, and confirm once more.

Deletion happens immediately. You will be signed out when it finishes.

If you cannot open the app

If you have lost the device or can no longer sign in, email apps@intellova.com.au from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will verify that you own the address before doing anything, and complete the deletion within 30 days — usually within a few business days.

What is deleted

• Every document you uploaded, including every stored version of the file
• All text read from those documents, and the facts and dates extracted from them
• Your conversations with Drey and their history
• Reminders and dates you created
• Your profile, preferences and sharing permissions
• Your sign-in credentials

What is kept, and for how long

• Shared accounts. If you shared Drey with other people and you were the owner, the shared account passes to another member so their records are not destroyed with yours. Anything of yours that was private is still deleted.
• Backups. Encrypted disaster-recovery backups are kept briefly and then expire automatically. They are not used to restore deleted accounts.
• Legal records. Where law requires us to retain something, we retain only that, and only for as long as required.
