Lesson 8 of 12
Quick Suite agents
A short guide to watching the AWS video on Quick Suite agents, framing what they are and how they relate to your own unified Intellova data.
Video + 3 min
Why this matters
Until now in this course, you've built and read dashboards yourself — clicking, filtering, and interpreting the numbers. Quick Suite agents flip that around: instead of you digging for answers, you ask a question in plain language and the agent does the digging for you. For a busy mid-market team without a dedicated analyst, that's the difference between waiting for a report and simply asking, "Why did sales dip last week?"
What to watch for in the video
As you watch, keep an eye on a few specific things. First, notice how an agent is set up and what it connects to — this is what gives it access to your business data. Second, watch the style of questions being asked: they're conversational, not technical, so pay attention to how plainly someone can phrase a request and still get a useful answer.
Third, notice that the agent doesn't just spit out a number — it can explain its reasoning and pull from multiple sources. Finally, watch for any mention of permissions or guardrails, which control what the agent is allowed to see and do. Those last two points matter most when you bring this into a real business setting.
How it connects to your Intellova dashboards
The agents in the video are only as good as the data they sit on top of — and that's exactly where your unified database comes in. Because Intellova brings your sales, finance, and operations data together in one place on AWS, an agent can answer a question across all of it rather than getting stuck in a single system. The dashboards you've built in earlier lessons give you the visual view; agents simply give you another, more conversational way to reach the same trustworthy numbers.
